Oak Class
Our theme this term is: Do you believe that humans evolved from apes?
This term, class 4 will prove that they are c-ape-able to learn all about living things and their habitats, as well as evolution and inheritance! They will also be focusing on developing their leadership as sports leaders, and will become the chimp-ions of Bikeability, as well as a memorable trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park! We will be reading books like 'Island: A Story of the Galápagos' by Jason Chin, 'The Tree of Life' by Peter Sís, 'What Mr Darwin Saw' by Mick Manning, and 'Darwin's Dragons' by Lindsay Galvin. For our art and technology, we will be sculpting a future creature, showing how animals will evolve in future years! Overall, the main focus for class 4 this term is all about Darwin and living creatures, as well as Galapagos and South America for geography.This term will really be ape-ic!
